My husband and I had our first dinner at this restaurant. We’re both big pizza lovers, and this place truly exceeded our expectations. It was an excellent pizza experience, and we highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys pizza. 🍕😁
I have been to this restaurant multiple times and I can tell you for sure they know how to make great Italian food. Each time I go I tell myself take more pictures but the food is incredibly delicious and smells so good that I forget to take pictures. The waitress here is also amazing, she makes you feel relaxed and like you are family. The whole place is simple but yet gives off a good vibe atmosphere. I have tried various pizzas and the calzones here and all are top notch. The salads are fresh and tasty. Portions will fill you up and the price is definitely reasonable. This was an easy review, 5 stars for food, service, and atmosphere. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
Thanks to our new Mayor of Edinburg, we decided to try out the pizza joint. The pizza was great, hot, wonderful taste, and cooked well. We also ordered French fries because of the previous reviews on their fries. The fries also were great, not soggy but hot and a craving satisfaction. Thank you Mayor and thank you Armando's pizza for a great experience. This will be our new pizza joint for sure!
I came in from out of town and wanted some pizza before my drive back home. Looked at some reviews and settled on this place. Just as mentioned in the reviews, the owner/manager, a woman, was sitting and chatting with a customer like an old friend. She was very friendly to me as well. I ordered by phone: a large pepperoni pizza. About 5 minutes after my order, I was having regrets about ordering plain pepperoni, thinking I should have ordered an extra topping, like sausage or meatballs, so that my pizza would be fresh. I thought they might just give me a pepperoni that had been laying around. However, I was very happy to find when I arrived that my pizza was still in the oven cooking. Came out hot and fresh. Began eating it in my car on the long drive home. Very glad I stopped here. Pizza was the best I've had in a very long time. Definitely better than anything in Laredo. Crispy, chewy crust. Great cheese and pepperoni. Also a great price. The large pepperoni was about 12 bucks. Can't recommend this place enough. And also can't wait to return to Edinburg to eat there again. Sorry for no photos. I was in a rush and didn't want to be playing with my phone while driving.
Had their lunch combo #10, 12" small two topping pizza, 6 mozzarella sticks and two drinks for $20.99 as of 11/19/2025. The mozzarella sticks had a good breading and crunch and the dipping sauce tasted good and complimented the sticks well. Their pizza crust had a good taste and crunch with a good supportive crust. Chesse was good, sauce was good and could smell a hint of basil or rosemary in it, pepperoni and Canadian Bacon combination was good. My only two critiques are the fryer oil may need to be changed and because the Canadian Bacon is thinly sliced I would like to see more of it placed on the pizza unless most of it was hiding under the chesse.
Was passing by town and wanted something good after hours of driving. Found Armando’s pizza and was so thankful I did. Every staff member I met was so kind and greeted me. The only thing better than the hospitality was the food itself. The pizza had the perfect ratio of sauce, cheese, and meat. The sauce was so flavorful, perfectly salty and savory. The chicken parm sub was crisp and the bread was baked with just enough bite and softness. The fries were also gold and crunchy on the outside and pillowy on the inside. This is my new spot every time I’m in town
We ordered a pepperoni, mushroom and garlic pizza and their pepperoni fries. The pepperoni fries were pretty basic. After the first layer of cheese, it was mostly just fries. The pizza was pretty good, though. The dough had good flavor and the cheese and toppings were of good quality. If the pizza had just a little bit more cheese, I would have given it 5 stars. The service was very good and it didn’t take long to get our food. The seating was OK and the vibe was pretty relaxed. It’s worth trying out, especially if you like New York style pizza.
I was down to try a new locally-owned pizza spot. I was curious to see what all the great reviews were about. I got a Hawaiian pizza (Canadian bacon and 🍍with jalapeno. I particularly liked that this was cut such that the slices were already separated and easy to grab and bit. It has the right amount of cheese and toppings. The dough was great. It was firm enough and not floppy or soggy. It was a fresh, hand-tossed dough. For me, the star of the show was their Passion Tea. I would buy that by the gallon. It was so good!
